Cookies

Cookies are small summary files (containing a unique I.D. number), which web browsers store on a computer's hard drive. They enable us to recognise your computer and thus authenticate clients and provide timesaving shortcuts and preferences. They also enable us to keep track of products/services you view so that, if you consent, we can send you news about these products/services. NetReturn Consulting uses a persistent encrypted cookie, if the client requests, to save and retrieve individual authentication information as well as other per-client device preferences.

General privacy statement

Collection of personal information

We primarily collect your personal information through correspondence you engage in with us, predominantly through our websites and online applications, but also via emails, contest entry forms and survey responses. Such information may include your name and contact details and any other information detailed in this privacy policy.

What do we do with the personal information collected?

Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, NetReturn Consulting only collects, holds and uses information about you for the purpose of providing our services and products to you (including setting up the Services for individuals and their organisations), to administer our customer relationship with you, for internal purposes (i.e. procedural assessments and risk management) and for any reasonably related purposes.

We may use the information to contact customers and prospects to further discuss their interest in our company, the Services we provide and ways we can improve them, and to send information such as announcements of promotions and events regarding our company or partners. We may also email a customer newsletter and updates about the Services or the company. You can opt out of receiving these communications by replying to them at the time they are distributed or by unsubscribing at any time from our website(s) (by emailing support@netreturnconsulting.com.au).

We may disclose your personal information outside of NetReturn Consulting when authorised by you, when required or authorised to do so by law (including under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)), or where required for the ordinary operation of our business or websites (i.e. information provided to technical contractors who may gain access to personal information as part of their services). We may also disclose your personal information in the following circumstances.

NetReturn Consulting also has integration relationships with third-party companies and individuals ("Integration Partners"). These relationships extend the functionality of the Services and the Integration Partner application or service ("Integrated Service") by allowing the Services and the Integrated Service to exchange customer data and to establish linked business processes between the two. Customers who pay NetReturn Consulting for use of the Services and use this Integrated Service are considered customers of both NetReturn Consulting and the Integration Partner.

NetReturn Consulting and an Integration Partner/Referral Partner (as the case may be) may share customer contact, account, financial and billing information with respect to their joint/integrated business relationship with the customer. NetReturn Consulting does not share your business data with Referral Partners, but may share it with Integration Partners. The sharing of customer information allows NetReturn Consulting and the Referral Partner/Integration Partner to establish the identity of the shared customer and determine referral fees owed. The sharing also allows the Integration Partner to provide consolidated billing services to the shared customer and allows for the enhanced functionality of the integrated service. Shared contact, account, financial and billing information and business data is governed by the Terms of Service.
